It was a perfect moment until you kissed me. I had to return but after that I couldn’t.
Your kiss reminded me of the harsh reality.
The empty promises that were meant to be broken.
The unfulfilling future that was waiting to be lived.
The wondrous past that was meant to be forgotten.

What was I thinking ? I am getting married tomorrow and here I am sharing this kiss with you.
Knowing we will never be together.

So then why “does” this feel right ?
… maybe because this is needed today. Just so that I can kiss away all my troubles.

The moment is definitely sad Sanch but I choose to leave the conclusion to the reader's imagination :) In my head, the forbidden kiss was indeed path-changing.
